Popular DVD rental service LoveFilm have begun to offer customers a new Pay As You Go DVD rental service.

The Lovefilm Pay As You Go (PAYG) system uses a simple credit system, where customers can buy block of DVD credits that can later be used to rent DVD’s as and when they choose.

For light users this is a far simpler and easier way of online DVD rental, and also provides a cheaper option compared to light users currently on their Unlimited rental packages.

LoveFilm currently offer two types of PAYG DVD rental packages, these include Auto Top Up and Non-Auto Top Up.

As you would expect the Auto Top-up package credits your account with a specific number of DVD credits, and then automatically rebills your account after a 6 month period. This is the cheaper option bringing the actual cost of a single DVD rental down to £1.95 a rental.

The Non-Auto Top-up package on the other hand expires after 6 months whether all your credits have been used or not, but unlike the previous package you won’t be auto-billed for the package.LOVEFiLM Pay As You Go
